With the theme “MAY IT PLEASE THE COURT : UNMASKING THE ART OF MOOTING” the third Jessup Workshop celebrated its coming back to the pre COVID non-virtual mooting format. Thirty one universities (thirty participating institutions and the host institutions) took part in the two-day long celebration of mooting and international law with Jessup Bangladesh and ILSA. To make the best use of available resources Jessup Bangladesh conducted both in person and online training sessions. In one hand experienced instructors like Natasha Harnwell-Davis, Attorney, Criminal Appellate Section, The USDOJ flew all the way from United States to Bangladesh to conduct in person sessions, on the other hand 2022 Global Rounds Champion and Runner up Harvard Law School and Singapore Management University joined online. The two-day workshop was ended in the presence of Justice Zafar Ahmed, Hon’ble Judge, High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh , Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice Chancellor, AIUB, Dr. Taslima Mansoor, Advisor, Department of Law, AIUB, Natasha Harnwell-Davis, Sarah E. Edwards, Resident Legal Advisor, USDOJ/OPDAT, U.S. Embassy, Dhaka, Nuran Choudhury, National Coordinator, ILSA Chapters, Bangladesh, and Washik Md. Istiaq Ezaz, National Administrator, Jessup Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds 2022 and 2023.
