Previous Pre Jessup Workshops

The 2018 Jessup Workshop was the first national mooting workshop of Bangladesh where nuts and bolts of Jessup Moot Court Competition was discussed. The workshop was the first initiative taken by Jessup to reduce the knowledge gap and resource inequality of the institution country. The theme of the workshop “ORCHESTRATING THE FUTURE, ANALYZING THE PAST” summarizes the action plan and vision. With selective participants from the participating institution of the 2nd Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds 2018 Jessup kickstarted its first workshop. Participation of qualified legal professionals with diverse backgrounds - Ragib Mahtab, Lecturer, American International University, Nusrat Jahan, Lecturer, Asia Pacific University Bangladesh, Coach, Jessup Team, National Round Greg Davis, Intermittent Legal Advisor, USDOJ/ OPDAT, U. S. Embassy Dhaka, Eric Opanga, Resident Legal Advisor, USDOJ/OPDAT, U. S. Embassy Dhaka, Dr. Md. Rizwanul Islam, Associate Professor, Dept. of Law, North South University, Christabel Randolph, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh and Head of Legal, Marico International - had set a high bar for future Mooting Workshops.
