Wakila Hussain is a young academic and legal researcher from the Bangladeshi legal academia. Wakila was a participant of the Sixth Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2022, her team reached to semi-finalist.  Wakila joined as a lecturer at the Department of Law, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) right after freshly graduating from the same institution.  Wakila completed her LL B and LL M being the top of her classes.  She served as a Teaching Assistant and worked as a Research Assistant under her supervisor, Assistant Professor Abu Bakr Siddique during her graduate study.  Her area of research covers Intellectual Property, International Law, Human Rights, Constitution and Comparative Law. Wakila conducted research on Intellectual Property Rights during her internship in the department of Legal Affairs at Banglalink Digital, one of the leading telecommunication companies in Bangladesh.
