Saima Karim Shanon is currently pursuing LLM from the Department of Law, Jagannath University. She has completed her LLB from the same institution. She's the current president of Jagannath University Moot Court Society. Because of her interest in practical learning, she has engaged herself with various national and international moot court competitions, workshops, seminars, symposiums, and residential training programs outside of academic study. She has also worked as an intern with USAID at the Supreme Court Legal Aid Office. At present, Shanon is associated with Empowerment through Law of the Common peopleELCOP, a well-reputed human rights organization. She has recently worked as the Program Manager of 21st Human Rights Summer School organized by ELCOP. She's now working as a researcher in 12th Common Law Review project. It is a matter of absolute honor for her to serve as a Jessup ambassador.
