Monisha Jahan Joya is an LL.B. student at the Department of Law, North South University. During her tenure as an undergraduate student, she has represented North South University in various moot court competitions as an oralist also as a researcher. She participated at the Phillip C. Jessup 2020 Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds, where her team came out as one of the quarter-finalists and ranked 6th as a team overall. Monisha was a member of North South University Law & Mooting Society (NSULMS) where she served as a Sub- executive to organize different legal events and competitions. She is currently working under renowned legal academics for multiple research projects. Her legal research focuses on Public International Law, Constitutional Law, and Labour Law. She is doing a one-year mentorship program under The American Society of International Law (ASIL) and its Women in International Law Interest Group to get trained to pursue her future career in international law.
