A.Z.M. Umar Faruque Siddiki is currently pursuing his LLM in International Law from Department of Law & Justice, Jahangirnagar University. He has completed his LLB (Hon's) from this department with the highest CGPA of his class. During his journey in the law family, he has contributed as a researcher to numerous Moot Court Competitions at home and abroad including DUMCS-TIB Anti-Corruption Moot Court Competition, 7th Prof VS Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition (held at Jaipur National University, India), and 3rd Bangladesh Round of Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Mr. Siddiki is a volunteer teacher at TORI School in JU (A School for Street Children), and also served as the Vice-President of TORI in 2016-2017 sessions. As a young researcher, he has interest to excel with his research in International law, particularly in the Post-colonial statehood and the self-determination of minorities.
